"Always design a thing by considering it in its larger context — a chair in a room, a room in a house, a house in an environment, an environment in a city plan."
- Eero Saarinen

Modern Operations recent work includes construction and operations consultation for the new Academy of Motion Pictures Art and Sciences Museum, full Owner Representation services for the Albright-Knox Art Gallery AK360 project and ongoing support for The Broad museum.
The core purpose of Modern Operations’ collective work is to realize meaningful public environments that truly engage, educate, and inspire the end user. Successful cultural projects of this magnitude are not ends in themselves, but when managed effectively, represent the economic, cultural, and social potential that reverberates far beyond the boundaries of the place itself. In 2016 Jessica Jamroz and Rich Cherry formed Modern Operations, LLC to offer their combined professional expertise of museum operations and construction, strategic planning, management of large-scale high-profile public projects and commitment to design excellence and detailing.
