Dylan Burns, a Buffalo native, is an Architectural Planner with 3 years professional experience concentrated on building communities of resilience vis-à-vis inclusive design and sustainable systems. He seeks to employ the smart, coordinated integration of universal design and net zero strategies into buildings - ultimately yielding more equity and efficacy in building operation systems.
As a Presidential Scholar and recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence, Dylan graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Dylan’s design and fabrication work for an On-Site Construction Robot (OSCR) team has been published in numerous journals. He has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity as a House Leader and designer for four years. Additionally, his time spent in the United Kingdom through the US-UK Fulbright Commission Summer Institutes, as well as his time spent studying in China, has enriched his understanding of the built environment across culturally diverse landscapes.
